4 simple steps to get started

When you work with EightySeven Web we have a four-step project proposal process that we like to go through to make sure we fully understand the needs of your company.

  • Strategy Call

We’ll jump on a call with you and your team to make sure we understand all the challenges you’re facing, the goals you want to achieve, and the needs of your business. By the end of this call, we will be able to give you a general estimated quote for your project.
  • Custom Proposal

Our team will develop a custom proposal for your business, outlining the recommended digital strategy with specific details and deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price for your company’s unique needs.
  • Contract & Deposit

After the proposal is agreed upon, you’ll sign a Master of Service Agreement (MSA) which helps keep everyone protected and on the same page. After the MSA is signed, we’ll collect the initial deposit for your project.
  • Project Kickoff

Now for the fun part! As soon as the contract is signed and the deposit is paid we’ll get started on designing your new website. As your new digital marketing partner, we promise to treat your business as if it were our own.

Have questions about Web Design & Development?

  • How much does a website cost?

How much a website costs depends entirely on what you need from it. From simple one page websites to large eCommerce sites for selling multiple products online, prices can vary extensively.

The first step for every new project is to schedule a free Strategy Call. During this call, we can discuss the various needs and functions of your new website. By the end of the call, we can give a general price range for your project.

  • How many pages does a website need?

Most websites have at least a Home page, an About page, a Services page, and a Contact page. Depending on what your company does will influence how many pages you need. For most businesses, the basic pages are a good start, but you’ll eventually want to add more pages to improve and expand SEO. Book a free Strategy Call and we can chat about what will get you the results you want.

  • How long does it take to build a website?

Depending on how many pages your site has (and how complex the functionality is you need) will influence how long it takes to build. Most service business websites with a simple contact form will take on average 6-8 weeks to collect/write content, design, build, and launch.

  • Are there any ongoing costs for a website?

No matter where you get your website built, you will need to hire a professional for website backups, security, and updates. If your website maintenance isn’t kept up to date, or done incorrectly, it can kill your website. For more details, check out our website management page.

As a website owner, you’ll also have to pay an annual hosting fee (think of it like paying rent for your website’s home online) and domain name (the “yourcompanyname.com” people will type into their browser to find you). Search engine optimization is also an important ongoing investment to get ahead of competitors and increase leads/revenue.
